What is fedi?

The Fediverse is a social network, sort of. A decentralized protocol for communication on teh internet, and a collection of different server applications that can all talk to each other. It’s a network of social networks, really. It's like twitter, only if the software was open and standardized, and anyone can run their own twitter. This is a bad summary but i'll flesh this out later.

this is the fedi server i'm on, corteximplant.com. it's chill, based in Germany and has a bunch of cool artists, techies, cyberpunks, musicians, and just all around interesting folks.
